Plasma Table Operator

We are seeking a Plasma Table Operator/Sheet Metal Worker to be a part of our growing team at Action Heating & Cooling. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Setup and operate Plasma Table
• Perform Quality self-inspection
• Measure, cut and bend various types of sheet metal into appropriate sizes and shapes
• No round work-only dimensional
• Operate fabricating equipment such as shears, saws and presses
• Be accountable for quality of work performed with little supervision
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Ability to read blueprints (?)
• Operate a fork truck in a safe manner
• Daily focus on quality and productivity
• Ensure safety is a priority

QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Prior experience operating a plasma table, highly preferred
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
• Proficiency in measuring
• Capable of standing for long stretches of time
• Regular, reliable and predictable performance required
• Ability to safely handle tools and materials commonly found in a warehouse
environment.
• Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects according to specifications
